“Singing for Breathing” at George Eliot Hospital is a free fortnightly workshop, open to patients experiencing breathlessness.
Through enjoyable, informal exercise, Singing for Breathing teaches a better understanding of breath control. Patients have described the positive effects singing had on their general well-being, the sense of community support they felt in the classes and the feeling of achievement.
