Hi Guys and thank you very much for taking an interest in this first ever Leicester Sing for Water event to raise vital funds to help people in Malawi and Ghana get access to clean water through WaterAid.

We are all going to have a fantastic time singing with over two hundred other voices in front of an audience of up to a thousand people at Leicester's Riverside Festival! I hope you will join in.

The first step is to get hold of a music pack. It contains the sheet music for all six songs and two teaching CDs, so you can arrive knowing your part on the day. We will then be ready to rehearse as a huge choir!

You will find a sponsor form in the pack. Please do your best to get it filled in. We are hoping that everyone will aim to raise at least £50 in sponsorship. If you have been to a previous Sing For Water event, you'll know how powerful this experience will be. If you haven't, you can get an idea of what we are aiming for if you go to www.singforwater.org We want to look good as well as sounding good, so we are asking everyone to wear dark trousers or a dark skirt with plain coloured tops in any of the colours of the rainbow (ie anything except for black, white, brown or grey!). We know this will look fantastic!!

In order to cover our costs we have to ask for a donation of £5 for the music packs, but once you have a pack, you are welcome to reproduce it for your friends. Alternatively, your friends can contact Maggie and Tom via the dedicated email address sfwleics@hotmail.co.uk and order further copies at £5 each if they need to.
